It all started last September 15th. It was our friend Janies 62nd birthday. She had been feeling ill for several weeks, but this was the day she was taken to the hospital and was told she had cancer. She had only months to live. Very sad for her family and friends. After Janies death, we took in her two dogs, chickens and ducks. Luke, her beloved Newfoundland mix was pretty ill himself. He had cancer just like his Mom and two weeks after Janies death, Luke died. We had contacted Dr. Woodward in case we needed to have Luke put down, but the decision was made for us.
